Cone-Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) 3Dimentional Imaging for surgical planning
Kelowna Dental Centre provides state-of-the- art technology including CBCT 3D imaging (Cone-Beam Computed Tomography) unavailable in most dental practices. This equipment allows for improved diagnoses, and allows our doctors to complete advanced treatment plans such as full mouth rebuilds. In just a 20 second span a precise, undistorted 3D image is captured. Single or multiple locations can be investigated. Nerve location, bone density, bone width, roots, airways or sinus proximity are known exactly to allow for precise implant placement or other oral surgery planning.
